Grid computing is widely regarded as a technology of immense potential in bothindustry and academia. Yet many enterprises are still hesitant about theimplementation of an enterpriselevel grid system due to the lack ofconsistent and widely used standards. Security is probably the most importantconcern and needs both close understanding and careful implementation as gridcomputing offers unique security challenges.
