De narcose

Sophie is arts en gespecialiseerd in slaapstoornissen. Na uitgebreid experimenteel onderzoek heeft zij een succesvol medicijn ontwikkeld en daarmee vele patiënten geholpen. Maar het medicijn brengt niet alleen geluk, in verkeerde handen kan het zelfs levensgevaarlijk zijn.

En dan verandert Sophies leven voorgoed als een gezellig familie-uitje in een drama eindigt. Dit drama blijkt verband te houden met het door haar ontwikkelde medicijn. Sophie begint een race tegen de klok om haar eigen leven en dat van haar naasten te redden.
