Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha
Het is 1968. Patrick Clarke - Paddy voor zijn vriendjes - is tien jaar oud. Hij woont in Barrytown, waar de nieuwbouw in hoog tempo oprukt, de meeste vaders fabrieksarbeiders zijn en voetballer George Best de nationale held is.
