Book
This book is written primarily with the requirements of interdisciplinaryresearchers in mind and as a reference book for postgraduate students. Thisbook broadly divided into two portions is aimed at agriculture and soilphysicists and those working in the areas of remote sensing. The first portioncomprising four chapters deals with the physical and dielectric properties ofsoils methods of soil dielectric measurements using microwaves and remotesensing techniques. In the second portion Chapter 5 deals with some of theresults on soil moisture measurements while in Chapter 6 the theoretical modelsof soil moisture data are discussed. In Chapter 7 recently used syntheticaperture radar techniques for the purpose of remote sensing and theirinterpretation of soil moistures are presented. TOCIntroduction. DielectricBehaviour of Soil. Methods For Measuring Soil Water Content. Microwave RemoteSensing Techniques in Soil Moisture Estimation. Experimental Results onDielectric constant of Soil. Soil Moisture Models.
