Investigates one of the oldest questions of legal philosophy - the relationship between law and legitimacy. The author analyzes the legal theories of three eminent public lawyers of the Weimar era, Carl Schmitt, Hans Kelsen and Hermann Heller, and applies them to contemporary debates. «
