Tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog sneuvelden duizenden soldaten op de slagvelden in en rond Ieper.
Na het succes van het eerste deel van Archiefbeelden - Ieper in de Grote Oorlog, dook Jacky Platteeuw nogmaals de archieven in en pluisde nieuwe bronnen uit. Met als resultaat een boek met meer dan 200 foto's die een indringende blik werpen op Ieper voor, tijdens en na de Eerste Wereldoorlog.


During the Great War thousands of soldiers lost their lives on the battlefields of the Ypres Salient in the west of Belgium, near the French border.
Following the succes of the first part of Images of Flanders - Ypres in the Great War, the author returned to the archives and discovered new sources. The result is a book containing over 200 fascinating photographs from before, during and after the First World War.
