Rob Doelloos, geboren in 1947, is opgeleid als welzijnswerker begon op latere leeftijd aan een rechtenstudie, waarmee hij in het onderwijs belandde.Tegenwoordig is hij docent in ruste van een opleiding sociaal juridische dienstverlening. Zijn privé-archieven tracht hij in de grafdans om te zetten in een roman ter leringhe ende vermaack over hoe mis het kan gaan in de juridische dienstverlening als het vak op een niet professionele en integere wijze wordt uitgeoefend.Hiertoe heeft een hij deel van de stukken, waarover hij de beschikking kreeg in de jaren 1990 tot 2000 in het kader van een erfeniskwestie, toegedicht aan zijn zwager mr.drs Piet van Snaterius, en van, hier en daar, humoristisch commentaar voorzien.Uit diep respect voor zijn zwager mr.
