Hi there,Thanks so much for grabbing this book!My name is Mart Laven, social worker, 43 years old and now I am living in Maastricht, the south of Holland. I finally feel at home and at peace. My life and especially the last 4 years have been a rollercoaster for me. I sold my appartment in Amsterdam in 2018, too many temptations;)I've spend the last 2 years in India and Australia to do some soul searching. I battled with my cocaine and gambling addiction along the way. I lost about 100.000 euro due to gambling online and in casino's. Now I am proud to say I am off the drugs completely and I stopped online gambling since september 2021. I never want to go back to this isolated, lonely time, where I was using cocaine, many times alone in my appartment. If you recognise this, please seek professional help.I experienced different forms of abuse which I'll tell you in my book. With this diary like book I hope to inspire you to write your own story. «
