Famke de Vries is het pseudoniem voor Mary Tymensma. Na een aantal keren in de Margriet en Libelle te hebben gestaan is in het najaar van 2009 Famkes weblog uitgegeven. Haar gezin was haar inspiratiebron en haar dochter Mariska heeft voor de illustraties gezorgd.
