Foto di Giovanni Dall'Orto.jpg Aristoteles (Grieks: Ἀριστοτέλης, Aristotélēs) (Stageira, 384 v.Chr. - Chalkis (Euboea), 322 v.Chr.) was een Grieks filosoof en wordt met Socrates en Plato beschouwd als een van de invloedrijkste klassieke filosofen in de westerse traditie. Hij was lid van Plato's filosofische Akademeia en diens invloed is dan ook permanent aanwezig in Aristoteles' werk.
