Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Carlos Ruiz Zafón woont in Barcelona en Los Angeles. Hij werd geboren op 25 september 1964. Met zijn roman 'De schaduw van de wind' bereikte hij zijn internationale doorbraak. Het grappige is dat 'De schaduw van de wind' eigenlijk een van zijn latere werken is. Zafón begon in 1992 al met schrijven aan zijn eerste Young Adult roman 'De Nevelprins', welke in 1993 gepubliceerd werd. Nu komen zijn Young Adult romans ook naar Nederland, welke hij schreef in de hoop dat jong en oud er van zouden genieten.
